We do not sell your personal information.
Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us.
To make a verifiable consumer request, you must request, complete and submit appropriate documentation providing such information that may be used to independently verify your identity.
We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
Right to Request Deletion
You have the right to request that we delete your personal information. To make a such a request you can contact us at privacy@fglife.com or call 888.513.8797.
Using an Authorized Agent
You may use an authorized agent to submit a “request to know” or “request to delete.” To use an authorized agent, you will need to (i) provide written instruction to your agent and verify your identity to us or (ii) provide a power of attorney pursuant to California Probate Code Sections 4000 to 4465.
You should be aware, however, that California law allows us to retain your personal information under certain conditions, even if you have asked us to delete it, such as when retaining your personal information is necessary for us to complete a transaction with you or provide you with a good or service you have requested. We will notify you of any denial of your deletion request and the reason for such denial.

We may also use the information that we collect to process your account registration and to enable you to use certain features of the Website and participate in online promotions. 3. How and When Does F&G Share Information With Third Parties?

(e) Third-Party Tracking and Do Not Track

Do Not Track is a technology that enables users to opt out of tracking by websites they do not visit. Currently, we do not monitor or take any action with respect to Do Not Track technology.
4. How Do Users Update Their Information?
The Website may allow you to update the information that we collect from you, such as the contact information that you provide when you register for an account. You may also request that we update your information by sending an email to us at privacy@fglife.com. The Website may also allow you to update your email preferences. If you would prefer not to receive email newsletters or other messages from us, you may use the “unsubscribe” features that are included in such messages or contact us at privacy@fglife.com.
5. How Does F&G Protect Your Information?
We use commercially reasonable and industry standard security technologies and safeguards to protect the information that we collect and use. We also expect our service providers to protect information in the same manner. However, no data transmission over the internet, mobile networks, wireless transmission or electronic storage of information can be guaranteed 100% secure. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us.
6. California Privacy Rights
(a) CCPA Notice
If you are a California resident and your personal information is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, our California Consumer Privacy Act Policy and Notice at Collection (“CCPA Policy” and “CCPA Notice”) shall also apply. To the extent the provisions of this Privacy Policy conflict or are inconsistent with the provisions of our CCPA Policy or our CCPA Notice, the provisions of our CCPA Policy and our CCPA Notice shall control.
(b) Shine The Light
We may from time to time elect to share certain information about you collected by us on the Website with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, unless the exemption provided by subsection (h) for certain financial institutions applies, permits California residents who have supplied personal information, as defined in the statute, to us, under certain circumstances, to request and obtain certain information regarding our disclosure, if any, of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If this applies, you may obtain the categories of personal information shared and the names and addresses of all third parties that received personal information for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately prior calendar year and/or request to opt-out of such future sharing. To make such a request, please provide sufficient information for us to determine if this applies to you, attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for our response. You may make this request in writing at privacy@fglife.com.
7. Connecticut Policy for Confidentiality of Social Security Numbers
Connecticut law requires any person or entity that collects Social Security numbers from Connecticut residents in the course of business to create a privacy protection policy and to publish or display it publicly.
It is the policy of F&G to protect the confidentiality of Social Security numbers in its possession from misuse and improper disclosure by maintaining and enforcing policies and physical and electronic safeguards against misuse and improper disclosure. Unlawful disclosure of Social Security numbers is prohibited, and access to them is limited to individuals and services at F&G that need access to such information for the purpose for which it was originally provided.
8. What If I Live Outside of the United States?
The Website is operated in the United States and intended for users located in the United States. The privacy and data protection laws in the United States differ from those of other countries. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that the information that we collect will be transferred to and processed, stored, and used in the United States, and that by using the Website, you consent to such transfers and processing.
9. What About Children’s Privacy?
Our sites and applications are intended for general audiences, and we do not knowingly seek or collect personal information from children under the age of eighteen (18). In accordance with the Child Online Privacy Protection Act, in the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age thirteen (13) without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
